announcement fballers team

Roadmap is here, Alpha around the corner

Roadmap is finally released, and we have exciting news about the Alpha.

We hope you have been enjoying the summer and the good weather.. for the most part! Our team has been working hard throughout this period and since the last blog post we made great progress in many aspects of game-development. Infrastructure, game code, UI/UX, music and sound effects - literally, everything you could think of.

In the last announcement it was revealed that we would like to share the roadmap and cover the topic of sound effects with you the next time we drop a blog post, and that’s exactly what we are going to do! Plus a little bonus, or maybe not so little? Well, keep on reading and let us know what you think.

Roadmap and Alpha news

We like to take time with everything we do, but the roadmap is finally ready and available to view on the main home page. It will be updated every time significant progress is made, it could be every few days or every week, but we will make sure to drop a message in Discord whenever any of the statuses change.

What are the statuses and what they mean? Here’s a breakdown of all of them:

Over the past few months we worked hard on many aspects of the game, but have managed to complete the work on some of the core modules like Clubs, Transfers, Items, Market, Player, Agents and Chat/Community channels. This does not mean we will not be working on them anymore at all - if bugs are found or if we catch things worth improving on, we will work on them of course.

From our perspective, most of the effort in the next few weeks will be put into re-balancing core game systems and player progression, internal testing, translating the game from English to other languages with Polish as priority, and setting up all necessary infrastructure for the game to run on.

There is still quite a bit of work ahead of us, but the good news is that core functionality for all systems is in place and for most of the systems it is all about improvements, bug fixes, configuration tweaks/rebalancing.

Therefore, we are happy to announce that we are targeting open Alpha launch within the second half of October 2026! We are not kidding this time, it is happening, Alpha is coming and it really is just around the corner.

Soundtrack and sound effects

Although, you can see current status of soundtrack and sound effects in the roadmap, and probably the most important part for you was the announcement of Alpha release, we did promise to cover this subject in more detail. Creating sound and music is not something we are great at, which meant we had to carry out another recruitment process, but this time for a music composer.

Fortunately, this one was way more fruitful than looking for a UI/UX designer and we almost immediately found the person we wanted to work with. The work has begun in June and our priority was to have a game soundtrack first - one that would not be too disturbing but also one that would stick and you would enjoy listening to.

All the soundtrack related work, including improvements, was completed at the end of July. We strongly believe we have achieved what we wanted and cannot wait to hear your feedback on the official fballers soundtrack as soon as you join Alpha.

Moreover, in August we agreed with our music composer to produce sound effects for the game, which should make the whole experience of navigating throughout the game more enjoyable too. The goal is to have those sound effects implemented before Alpha and give you even more aspects to provide feedback on.

We hope you have enjoyed reading this announcement and as always stay tuned, follow us on all the socials: X, Facebook, Reddit, and join the community on Discord.
